The Road of LIFE is not straight.
There is:
A curve called FAILURE,
A loop called CONFUSION,
Speed bumps called FRIENDS,
Red lights called ENEMIES,
Caution lights called FAMILY.
You will have flat tires called JOBS,
but if you have a spare called DETERMINATION
and an engine called PERSEVERANCE,
you will make it to a place called SUCCESS!

The Sound of Music - Antwerp, Belgium
This video is SICK. It takes great effort, communication and time to get this all set up. I mean, you will never see something like this in Canada, sadly. I'm pretty surprised (maybe?) at the end, when the thing is done, everyone walks away like it's a normal thing in their agenda. :P But still, I found it pretty amazing.

Where Our Taxes Go - EPIC FAIL
So, I have been browsing around Youtube for a bit a few weeks back, looking at the most random videos, and I found one that I found completely HILARIOUS. I couldn't stop laughing about it, and its really great to know how our tax money is being used. Also, read the comments people have posted up, I'm sure it will make your day.
To see the comments, click here. (Just scroll down once the Youtube page finishes loading).
PS. Just ignore the name of the video, I'm assuming that the person named it that to catch the viewer's attention.

Boredom Knows NO Boundaries
I am completely, and utterly BORED.
So I decided to write an entire entry about it.
Sitting here in my room, fiddling with my laptop for the past two hours was a waste of my life, and I won't ever get it back.
Normally, I'm either downstairs cleaning, cooking, baking or gardening, OR out with my friends chilling, having fun, going on shopping sprees - which, by the way, I am running out of money :( - or going to the Theatre and watching awesome movies. But, no. My friends are either out of town on family vacations and camping, or they're working.
So, I'm left to bore myself to death.
At least, until my two little cousins come by in an hour with my Aunty and her husband (who I did not really take a liking to whatsoever). I'm not going to say the reason(s) - notice the 's' there? - as to why I don't like my 'uncle' because I know its going to be extremely mean and rude. BUT, I'm just going to say that I haven't accepted him for the past two years since he and my aunt married, and I probably won't accept him in the near future.
But yeah, my little cousins, the last time I saw them was a couple of months ago? Or was it a year? Well, all I know is that they probably don't remember me, so I know they're going to be a little bit shy and awkward. Hmm... anyone know how to get little kids to open up easily? Please, tell me.
Well, other than that, there is nothing else that's happening today.
TTYL.

So You Think You Can Dance! Jeanine Mason
WINNER - JEANINE MASON
The best dancer I have seen by far! So young, yet so talented. She is my absolute favorite during the entire season, and I honestly wish her best in the future. Contemporary really suits her, and she made me realize that contemporary is an amazing form of dance, and I already love it after seeing her on stage.
All the dances she performed was totally amazing, especially the dance she did with Jason; they are both awesome :).
This year's season had many really talented dancers with loads of potential, especially Jason, Kayla and Evan (who were also my other favorites).
This is honestly why I like the American version of So You Think You Can Dance! than the Canadian version, because I find that there are more talent in America (since it's a pretty big country) even though I'm Canadian myself.
;P
But, I hope that there are more dancers like her that can make it in the big world.

Little Green Monster
I’m assuming that one would already know the topic of this little blog just by the title. But just to clarify:
Green Monster = Jealousy
And we all know that jealousy causes us only pain and annoyance.
For example, from my experiences, jealousy had ruined a good friendship of mine. I had a friend who I really treasured, and you could say he was like an older brother I never had, but never actually got. We were extremely close. We met at my semi-formal night, and I guess I may have, flirted, with him a bit, ONLY because one of my classmates likes him and brought him as a date but she didn’t know if he felt the same way about her. So my task, you could say, was to find out if he liked her that way or not. But the plan backfired at me, and my friends, I guess. Instead of figuring out if he liked that classmate of mine or not, he got the wrong idea and thought that I liked him. But I didn’t. In the end, I rejected him. We remained close friends though.
HOWEVER, in comes along my other friend, who has a very … honest personality. Okay, scratch that. BLUNT personality. I just thought, hey, that’s her personality, I can’t change that. But the moment she started going out with my close friend, she began to get jealous because we “had a history together” and that we “hang out too much”. Oh, please.
Then, she tore away him away from me and now he avoids me. Well, guess what? I don’t care anymore. I'm not going to be the kind of person that makes her close guy friend choose between the close friend and his girlfriend, even though the close friend doesn't really like the girlfriend because of her twisted attitude. I honestly try to STAY AWAY from drama at all costs, so if all that meant that I would get caught in a whirlwind of pointless fights and arguments, then forget it. I’m not going to bother.
In the end, I don’t really talk to either of them anymore, and it is so freaking awkward ‘cause his friends are also my friends. I know, even I can feel jealous, but not to the extent where I'll make someone choose between people! I mean, what kind of person is that?
What I learned from all this: Jealousy is one huge ass BITCH.

The End.
As I lay here on my bed at 3:04 in the morning (I can't sleep T_T), I just thought, what would happen if the world came to an end right now, unexpectedly, and then we are reborn. What would happen?
Would we start off as cavemen again? Hunting and learning the basic needs for survival?
Would we reinvent what had already been invented before? Perhaps, the telephone? Or better yet, fire?
Would we let technology and money corrupt the better of society just like in the past? Create more wars and participate in stupid battles?
Or, would we learn from our mistakes and do something about it before it's too late?
Although everyone realizes that the society has been engulfed by greed, power and money, I have come to notice that no one exactly made a stand to stop it. It's perfectly understandable that the society runs on money, but now, there are endless amounts of things that are unnecessary and pointless.
For example, half-million European cars. I've got to admit, they are pretty nice and easy to look at. But please explain to me - a girl who, although does admire nice cars, just doesn't understand why in God's name would one need a freaking stereo in the trunk of the car and a theatre system inside the bloody vehicle to entertain one's self for a mere 5 minutes - how that exactly benefits anyone usefully, including our now slowly-being-destroyed environment.
Then, there are an increase in pointless games and game systems. I mean, it's nice to play video games and engulf yourself into a whole new world away from reality (God knows everyone wants to get away from the stresses of life and just let 10 minutes to yourself to be carefree), but don't go to the extent where you'd spend every damn minute with the game that, I'm sure if you even got the opportunity, you'd marry it. (Yes, I actually know people who are like that.) There are other things to do in life, you know. Learn to get away from the screen, and just, carpe diem.
Not to mention, alcohol. Don't get me wrong, I drink on occasion. But not to the extent where I get completely wasted and not remember what happened the night before. Call me a party pooper, but please, I wouldn't want to wake up the next day and find out that I made a complete and utter fool out of myself. Or better yet, I wouldn't even wake up 'cause I drowned in my own pool of vomit due to excessive drinking. But hey, don't let me scare you. It's your life. Yes, the feeling of getting wasted makes you release all the tension from the world and allows you into the dimension of carelessness and freedom, but I'm just saying, alcohol has never met any good end, and most likely never will.
I mean, COME ON. Not all people could be this bloody blind to the obvious facts. And you wonder about the increasing issue of today's society concerning obesity and lack of exercise among the community, both young and old.
Really, learn to face the facts.
Accept reality.
Do something about it.
Make a change.
God only knows when the last grain of sand will fall in our small hourglass.

The Complexity of the Male Species
Yes, that's right. Just exactly what the title says. Don't get me wrong, there are some in this world that are completely amazing - and you've got to admit, they are a rare species now-a-days - but I'm just saying, there are a majority that are incredibly and utterly stupid. For example, there are those who have way too many expectations and high standards that even the average girl couldn't even hope to dream about being with that person (people live to dream, dreams exist to make the people believe, and sometimes believing is one's only option). Or worst, there are others who have way too low expectations and standards, that they decide to get any girl they see walking across the street and attack them with their cheesy lines and corny methods to get that girl to hang out with them.
Seriously, though, what's with the pick-up lines? I personally think (and I'm sure most females would agree) that they are ridiculously dumb. I mean, look at it this way fellas, if you result to using pick-up lines to get a girl, then that just shows that you have no self-confidence in you what-so-ever. If you had confidence, you wouldn't be needing them.
Now I know what you're thinking: "this girl must be some kind of loner that can't get guys to go out with her".
WRONG.
I am perfectly capable in attracting the opposite sex without flaunting myself to them, mind you, (not that I'm boasting about myself or anything, either) but after the past experiences, and observations, I endured, I still have come to the conclusion: boys are stupid. Not men, boys. (Men are more mature, boys are just... ugh, don't even let me finish that sentence.)
I completely understand that, yes, I am only 17 and that I have a huge future ahead of me concerning males and relationships, but as of the present, my opinion stands.
Honestly. Also, something that annoys the bloody hell out of me: boys who have so much damn pride that within five minutes of spending time with that certain male species, you'd want to kick that all the way to Saturn and back, and then would want to repeat that several more times before sparing the poor guy's life. I know that pride's what they treasure the most - aside from their family jewels, bloody TV and year's supply of pointless, shooting games - but really now, boasting about yourself isn't exactly the best way to attract the female mind. That would just make you look narcissistic and conceited. Personally, I would just love to smack the shitless (mind my amazing French skills) out of the guy and leave him there without a second glance.
Maybe what I'm trying to say is...
Huh....
I don't even know what I'm trying to get at. Let me get back to you on that.
(Anyways, I'm not a feminist or anything, just to let you know. So don't be offended by anything I said, I'm just ranting.)

To Live Again
You promised me:
When you come back from traveling overseas,
You'd marry me.
You promised me:
When you come back from traveling overseas,
We'd start a family.
You promised me:
When you come back from traveling overseas,
We would all live happily.
But you never promised me:
When you come back from traveling overseas,
You would come back safely.
You never promised me:
When you come back from traveling overseas,
You'd drop off the kids to school with me.
You never promised me:
When you come back from traveling overseas,
You would take pictures of their graduation day with me.
You never promised me...
You never promised me a lot of things.
But on the will that you wrote,
You promised me:
When you come back from traveling overseas,
You would get me to smile and express myself freely.
You promised me that you will help me live again
From where you were high up in the sky,
In Heaven.

The Meaning of Life
"What does it mean to live?"
That must be the hardest question on Earth.
To some, they can answer it in an instant.
To others, it may take a lifetime or more.
The most common answer is to go through the experiences.
To learn. To feel emotion. To interact.
As for me, I am more of a romantic.
For me, to live means to die.
To live means to survive and live through anything.
To live means to experience love.
To live means to love, even after death.
To live, means to live.

Beautiful People
What are beautiful people?
Is there even such a thing as beautiful person?
Hot is it that human beings can define what a beautiful person is?
Or how a beautiful person looks like?
And how is it that a beautiful person must have the perfect face
shape, body structure, body features?
I always thought that no matter what, every single person
in the world is beautiful.
But I guess not everybody thinks that way.
Even those who are considered - there I say it - "ugly", they are beautiful.
In short, everyone is beautiful, despite what society says.
Not everyone has to follow the norm.
BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP.

Beauty
You may not have seen it then.
You may not have seen it now,
But in time, you'll see the whole picture.
Just be a little patient.
The outcome might just shock you.
The world is a simple, beautiful place.
But somehow, we make it more difficult than it really is.
So open your heart, and take a good look around you.
Because life is simple, and the simplest things are what can
TRULY MAKE YOU HAPPY.

Nothingness
I have no name.
I have no form.
I have no home.
I will take your hand with these ethereal fingers.
I will call you with this soundless voice.
I will protect you from all evil.
I will be the light at the end of you tunnel.
I will create many memories with you.
I will do anything to make you happy.
I will do all of this, until the darkness and nothingness encloses us.
But always remember, our spirits will always live on.

Meet Again
One day I'll have gone away.
When I'm no longer by your side,

Promise me, you'll always REMEMBER ME,

Chance
People take life for granted.
Especially people who just keep taking and never giving.
It is so easy to take, and so hard to give.
It is true when they say that life is a game of chance.
You take chances in all your decisions in your every day life,
In love, in families, in relationships, in friendships,
It's all a game.
But to pass the game, you have to know when to take a chance,
and when not to.
In the present day, people work so hard to create life,
But take it away just as easily.
Carelessness.
Stupidity.
Immaturity.
That is how I view it: the wars, the issues.
Life is easily wasted.
There arepeople who can never go back when they have
Missed their chance... Their first chance...
And not many of them gets a second chance.
And, if you misis you third chance, you will never forgive
Yourself.
Live your life. Don't let opportunities pass you by.

Another World
There is a wish that there should be another world.
A world without technology.
A world without hurt.
A world without violence.
A world far away from reality.
Humans wish for a world where they can be free.
But is there such a place away from the chaos and mayhem
Of society's role on Earth?
We wish for a place...
Another world...
Away from reality, and into

At The End of The World

Separated from you for so long,
A love forbidden between us.
Although far apart, continuously I sing our song,
Our love forever true, there is no need to rush.
Through the clouds of the Heavens,
Through the lands and seas of Earth,
Through the fiery pits of fiery Hell,
We will find each other again.
No matter how long it takes,
No matter how far we are apart,
Through the difficult times and good,
We will always find each other, even past
The end of the world.

You're in my heart,
In its doors you appeared,
Moving forward,
Moving forward,
Moving forward inside.
Just say you want it,
Even if a wall appears,
I will climb it,
I will climb it,
I will climb it to reach inside.
I will wait for you,
In front of you in this new world,

Die
To die is different from what anyone supposed...
No one knows when he or she will die
What makes it hard to live are the fears;
The fears that stop us from during what we want,
What we want to accomplish...
It makes death all the more scary, more frightening.
Suppose we die now.
Do we have regrets?
Regrets of not being able to reach your goal?
Regrets of not taking advantage of those
once-in-a-lifetime opportunities?
To die is different from what anyone supposed...
Because to die has a different meaning for each person.
To die... is a mystery.

Kill For Perfection
Perfection is so overrated,
Just like how fashion can be outdated.
The stares, the calls that seem to allure;
The stumble, the falls that seem to amuse.
That perfection seems to be protecting you
From the invisible, daggered stares,
Nothing ever seems so fair.
You always have that absolute pair.
It attracts, it soothes, it protects, it moves.
I decided to take it into my own hands,
And make yourself more defined.
Did you know, sister, you look absolutely divine,
in that gorgeous red color.
I guess perfection couldn't protect you forever.
The eyes that bore at the back of my head,
I knew, disliked me from the start.
But I never expected my "perfection" to lead to my death,
and a knife right through my heart.

Goodbye
Goodbye to the times we shared;
the good, the bad, the fun and the boring.
Goodbye to the memories we made;
whether it was by ourselves, or with our friends.
Goodbye to the days we spent together;
those months in the rain and in the sun.
Goodbye.
I had no regrets, I promise you that.
Why am I leaving?
Sorry, but I just realized the truth.
And reality pulled me back.
You know what they say?
They say that opposites attract.
But what reality told me was that we were just too different.
I will not be selfish.
I will not tell you to change: to fit my needs
my wants
my likes
I don't want to change you.
I am sorry.
And goodbye.

An Angel's Smile
If I look up at the heavenly clouded sky
And I'm still tediously climbing that hill today,
I began to feel half-hearted, but...
When I think of that favorite girl of mine,
It keeps me putting one foot forward over another.
My Girl
Has an angel's smile...
When it gets heavier,
I gather my way back home;
The way home which leads to you.
My Girl...

A Girl's Expectations
Every girl has an expectation (or more) from the second-half they are searching for. Of course, it varies between personalities and preferences, but this is my own list of what a girl expects from a guy:
1. Learn to be CONSIDERATE. * Think about her feelings, too!
2. Know your limits. There are BOUNDARIES.
3. Do NOT be a total hypocrite.
4. Learn to give her SPACE.
5. Find out about her interests, hobbies, etc. It is nice to know something that you can relate to.
6. Do NOT annoy the hell out of her.
7. Accept her FLAWS. Face it, EVERYONE HAS THEM. Get OVER IT!
8. Be FRIENDLY, KIND, and FUNNY. No one wants an asshole.
9. Do NOT be overprotective. It's cute, but freaking ANNOYING. Girls need to BREATHE.
10. Most importantly, LOVE HER.
... Is this too much to ask for?

50 Things To Do Before You Die
1. Set foot in each of the seven continents. * Antarctica might be a tough on, but once you've reached all 7, you can truly call yourself a world traveler.
2. Cross a country on a bicycle. * It may take some planning, but it beats being seperated from a country through a passenger-side window.
3. Ride something bigger than a horse. Trekking through the jungle on the back of a 2-story tall elephant will surely be something to remember forever.
4. Live like a local for a month. The experience of visiting native peoples will give you way more insight into another way of life than 2 years hopping from one backpacker ghetto to the next.
5. Visit a "real" blues bar in Chicago.
6. Learn another language.
7. Go heli-skiing.
8. Travel India by train. With its extensive rail network, this mode of transport is the best way to see one of the world's most colorful and diverse countries.
9. Climb one of the world's Seven Summits.
10. Dive with a whale shark. * Swimming with these gentle giants is mong the most powerful wilderness experiences in the world.
11. Participate in a Carnival parade in Brazil.
12. Dance tango in Argentina.
13. Surf.
14. Scuba in the Great Barrier Reef.
15. Publish an article about your travels.
16. Volunteer abroad for a month.
17. Follow the footsteps of your favorite travel book.
18. Take a bush plane ride into Africa's interior.

12 Life Lessons
1. How you grew up is not an indicator of who you are, what you want or how you approach life.
2. People will always try to control you if you let them.
3. All your life you must fight to be who you really are.
4. Your passion for your dream is enough motivation to do everything in your power to accomplish it and live it enthusiastically.
5. Every circumstance in your life comes with lessons. It is up to you to find them in the fold of pain, anguish, grief and heartache, learn them and live them.
6. People are generally hostile to your dream. So don't be too liberal in revealing it. Guard it well; keep it close to your heart.
7. You can't escape being like your parents in some respects, no matter what.
8. God is in control of all that happens in my life. He allows me the freedom to make decisions and choices. They may be good or bad. But in the end, He will have his way in my life, one way or another. He is God.
9. To a large extent, my parents are responsible for how I view myself. It si true that the view is not always conductive to self-confidence, but therein lies my inspiration to find and be the best I can be.
10. Everyone is afraid of something and that fear, no matter how hard we work to rid ourselves of it, the thing we fear follows us throughout our lives. The key to living well and fully is to learn how to let our fears dictate how far we travel on life's highway, how high we fly in pursuit of our dreams and how deeply we love.
11. The good old days will never return, no matter how hard we wish for them. Instead, we can recall, regain and recapture the good feelings, the simplicity and the hopefulness and make them a part of our todays.
12. God may not always be your first option, but He will always be the best option in any situation.

10 Things To Do In Walmart
Have you ever felt the urge to do something utterly and incredibly stupid? Well, here's the chance for you! The list I provide below is written and thought of by one very smart person, whom I give so much credit for:
1. Get as many packs of condoms as you can (preferably a basket full), and place them in random shopping carts when the owner is not looking.
2. Go into one of the change rooms (doesn't matter if it's the Men's or Women's), and yell out loud, "Why aren't there any tissue in here?!"
3. Hide inside a clothing rack, and when someone browses in the very same rack you are in, say, "Pick me! Pick me!"
4. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor to the rest rooms.
5. Set all the alarm clocks in house wares to go off in 5-minute intervals.
6. When a clerk asks if they may help you, being to cry and ask, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?!"
7. While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the anti-depressants are.
8. Dart around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the theme from Mission Impossible.
9. In the auto department, practice your Madonna look using different sized funnels.
10. When an announcement comes over the loud speaker, assume the fetal position and scream, "No! No! It's those voices again!"
Well, I hope you enjoy, and have as much fun as possible.
PS. If, by chance (and most likely), you are caught, and is (are) arrested or placed charges on, it is entirely not my problem or fault. Thanks! :)

My Alter-Ego
Hello. My name is Lola Dazzletush. Of course, that's not my real name, but that doesn't matter right now. You have already thought, "Lola Dazzletush? What kind of name is that??" Well, the origin of my name isn't all that important, but if you must know, it's my stripper name. No, I'm not a stripper. My friend, who I will not name, just asked what kind of name I would pick if I became a stripper, but before I could answer, I have been dubbed "Lola Dazzletush". How nice.

I Am A Dreamer
Since the day a child is born, he and many others have dreams.
About the world, the people, the real, the unreal.
They fantasize of what could have's, or what should have been's,
And let their imaginations run wild.
But as time progresses, reality intervenes and changes these fantasies.
It changes the point of view one uses to take a look at our dreams,
And it changes what our own interpretations of the dreams itself.
Instead, we face the negative aspects of life in most situations.
Everyone sees something as a get away from reality.
So, in the end, we are, and always will be, a DREAMER.

Blinded
She was so naive, she only saw him on the outside
Not his personality.
She didn't listen to what anyone said
Not her friends, not her family
And in the end, she got hurt.
Emotionally and physically
It was something that she'll regret forever.
She was blinded by love,
Or is it called infatuation?

A Red String
(This was from the card my ex-boyfriend gave me for Valentine's Day. I found it cute, so I thought I'd put it in here. This was based on a Japanese myth, called the Red String of Fate.)
Of those, the number of people you'll meet and work with at school is 3000.
And of those, you'll immediately know 300.
Among those encounters, it's said that God has arranged a SPECIAL ONE FOR YOU.
One made before you were born.
However, the bond of fate is invisible to everyone else, and yet that unseen person in your destiny is connected to you by a RED STRING on your pinky... that's why... that's why...
I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU
the moment we first met.

Searching
Searching for the meaning of peoples' lives is
The mission that is given by God to be taken.
That's why when missing someone,
It feels like I want to cry a moment.
The reason of my birth.
It's okay if just for meeting.

S <3 D
When a person loses someone,
They tend to chase after their shadow.
They will remember them from a single moment,
From the paths they walked together,
From parts where they laughed together,
From the street corners where they would meet,
And from those memories, they would tear up.
That is never something to be embarrassed about.
And there is no reason to force yourself to forget.
When you have a feeling you cannot forget,
I think it just shows how much you truly love that person.
And until that feeling turns into a precious memory,
Even if being true to your feelings,
May be painful, I think it's a very important thing.

Behind The Wheel
It was a sunny, breezy summer day and I had gone out with my sister and two of my best guy friends. One of the two guys, who I will nickname "J", already had a car and a G2 license and basically did all the driving for us. That day, we all decided to just find a nice spot in a field and lay on the grass. So, we found a school with a park/playground near it. As he parked the car, I noticed that the parking lot was empty. I took the chance to drive his car, and, of course, I wasn't very good at it. After driving around for a bit, and practicing my turns, my friend wanted his car back so he made the biggest mistake of his life: he left the passenger seat and left me in the driver's seat... WITH THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION.
So, I did what every 14-year-old would do: I locked the doors and drove away.
:D
It was pretty funny to see him run around and chase his own car. But, since he was a soccer player, he managed to catch up and stop me.
:( Boo. (N)
Ever since then, he never let me sit in the driver's seat, nor even let me sit in his car by myself.
But it was fun.
Can't deny that.

Words of Wisdom
Hello.
Well, my name's Clare, and I am known to viewers as The 91st Daydreamer.
Why the name, The 91st Daydreamer? Well, first off, I am a HUGE daydreamer, and that's what people say I am. I tend to daydream almost everyday of my life. And the "91st" part, well, I thought that I should add in a number there to make it more unique. So, I put in my year of birth, 1991. Yes, I'm young, don't be so surprised.
I am a writer, making up the most random stories, and you can read my work on a website called Fanfiction.net. To be more specific, I have my own section on the side panel, Fanfiction Galore, and you can read my stories there.
I love to watch TV shows, mainly romance and asian dramas. You can take a closer look into this at the TV Moments at the side. I provided links to the best dramas I've watched yet, so go ahead and watch as you please.
I also have a twin sister, Teresa, and she also made a blog here. You can look on my side panel for a little section I've given to her, called Teresa's Spot. She's also a good writer for stories, both chaptered and short, so take a look at her work sometime.
Other than that, there's nothing more for me to say, so I'll be talking more later. So, I hope you have fun reading about my life, and you can laugh if you please at the stupidity in my works.
Toodles.
